Biography

Amy Nordby was born in 1971 in Meriden, Connecticut. Amy grew up surrounded by the Arts and Sciences which gave her a passion for both.

She attended Cheshire Academy where she developed a love for painting and psychology. Inspired by the works of Dali and Titian she began painting Surrealism. At Franklin Pierce University she received a BA in Graphic Communications.

Shortly after graduating, she started working for a local wholesale printer. She perfected her artistic talents moving from Surrealism into Abstraction. She became lead Graphic Artist at the printer until leaving in 2012.

In 2015, she started painting full-time and began exhibiting online, nearby, and abroad. Her Buddhist philosophy and admiration for science and nature is evident in her work. A devotion to create ethereal, peaceful, and inspiring works of art.
